Katerina Panova Matoska is Administrative Manager at ARNO. Katerina’s engagement in the organization started in 2017 with the project “Philanthropy for Green Ideas” and continued with coordination of ARNO’s joint project with the Y-PEER Network and UNFPA. Her lead role was to organize several national events for strengthening the programs for peer education, including gender transformative programs and to provide logistic support to the campaign “MenEngage”. Being passionate on work with grassroots communities, Katerina also provided support to the implementation of the “Changes for sustainability: Slow Food Cooking Classes” project and contributed towards greater promotion of the concept of social entrepreneurship.
Katerina is certified pharmacist. She was inspired by the dynamic and creative work in the NGO’s sector, which was the main factor for her job transformation.
Irina Janevska is co-founder and president of the Organization for Social Innovation “ARNO” (founded 2013) recognized for the devoted energy and advocacy of Social Entrepreneurship, Green Business Ideas and innovative approaches for solving social issues. Her passion is merging innovation with real impact and social change. As passionate activist Irina has extensive international experience and is also affiliated as former Y-PEER Macedonia Focal Point and Global Shaper (Curator 2014) at the World Economic Forum (Global Shapers Skopje Hub).
In her career she has been contracted at management positions and worked on different social interventions: she is idea holder and producer of a docu-reality TV show “The key is under the mat” (promoting intercultural values), organizer of the First Cooking Classes in the country (promotion of VET and SocEnt), initiator of the first Soc.Ent Food Tours of Skopje (promotion of incoming tourism as SocEnt) etc. Inspired by the concept of Responsible (Green and Social) Entrepreneurship and the power it has in transforming local communities, Irina is effectively managing the National “Philanthropy for Green Ideas” Competition for the past 8 years (2014-presently, within ARNO). The desire to link practical with theoretical and academic approach brought her to currently research the culture of giving and philanthropy concepts as PhD Candidate in Cultural Studies.
Ivona Krstevska has long-term experience in working with youth (2006), worked for the South East European Youth Network, based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and as a Secretary General of the largest youth representative body in North Macedonia, the National Youth Council of Macedonia. The core expertise of Ivona is youth, youth policies, youth employability and entrepreneurship, as well as the volunteering and community service. Ivona joined ARNO’s team in January 2020 on the position Manager for Sustainable Development.
